Field Crew-Full time
Field Crew helps with all aspects of organic farming. You will work in all stages of production at a seed to market/CSA vegetable farm. We are looking for someone who has experience working on a farm, but are open to all folks with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greenhouse care, planting, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, washing, weighing, organizing and preparing vegetables for CSA deliveries and markets
Assist with the general upkeep of the farm, farm projects and applying Biodynamic Preparations
Requirements and Qualifications:
Farming experience preferred, Physical stamina, Ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions, Ability to lift 30# 's repeatedly, kneel and bend, Timely, Sincere desire to follow directions and work with coworkers to achieve a common goal
Timing:
May 1st until October 31st!
(we have some flexibility on start and end dates)
Monday- Friday, 7 am-4 pm, 27-33.5 hours/week (4-5 days a week)
(if you want more hours per week, we can accommodate!)
Compensation:
$16.50/hour
One full share of vegetables weekly
(enough to feed a family of 4) 10% off at all markets
Bonus:
We will give you a bonus $.50 for every hour worked during the time period agreed upon. Example: if you agree to work from May 1st-October 31st, and you complete that time frame, you will receive an extra $.50 for every hour worked. If you leave earlier than we agreed upon at the beginning of the season, or request more vacation time then agreed on at hiring, you will lose your eligibility for the bonus.

Load truck for CSA distribution, drive Teton Pass, and deliver to Wilson and downtown Jackson. Unload, set up site. Be available for customer service, sell meat and cheese. Reload truck return to farm and unload returning all veggies and supplies to designated places.
Skills Required:
Clean driving record, excellent customer service, ability to lift 40# 's repeatedly, friendly demeanor and timely.
Compensation:
$15.50/hour. Half share of vegetables.
Bonus:

Wednesdays 2:30 pm- 8 pm
Saturdays 7 am-about 10 am
Description: Meet our market crew at the market location. Set up our market stand, Cashier, Restock as needed. Breakdown and load truck. We are looking for someone who can help get us through set up, the rush of opening, restocked and breakdown. The time you leave each shift may depend on how busy we are.
Skill Required: Incredible Customer Service Skills, firm grasp of basic math, Cashiering skills, ability to concentrate in a hectic environment, ability to work outside in all types of weather, ability to lift 40# repeatedly, Love of vegetables, timely and reliable.
Compensation: $16/hour. Half Share of Vegetables (MUST be picked up on Thursdays between 5-7 at 250 E Broadway)

Timing: 5 days a week. 40 hours per week. May 1st thru October 31st. If you want more hours per week, we can accommodate. Monday- Friday 7-4. The 7-4 shift includes time for a lunch (provided 4 days a week) and coffee break (provided). Responsibilities: Crew Manager will be responsible for directing field crew throughout the day. Keeping the crew moving and efficient, quality control during all tasks, making sure jobs are complete and cleaned up after. Answering questions, making sure instructions are understood and followed. Keeping breaks and lunch to required time. Tasks can include but not limited to: Greenhouse care, transplanting, weeding, mowing, harvesting, washing, weighing, organizing and prepping vegetables and herbs for markets and CSA deliveries. Meaningful work feeding your community. We are a small family farm striving to grow the best food possible for the people of the Tetons.
